The competition is conducted in four rounds; i.e. city level, zonal level, national level & finally international level.

Round1
Round 1: City Finals
The performance of the participants is assessed at the school level on the basis of an Enterprise Index, an innovative concept which is a combination of 5 parameters namely:
• Memory
• Observation
• Extrapolation
• Analytical
• Practicality skills
Every student receives an elaborate learning analysis report comprising one’s performance details on all parameters constituting the EI. It also provides measures and guidelines to improve and achieve a well rounded EI.
How is Enterprise Index will be conducted
– City round will be conducted at various Iken Scientifica designated centers in your cities.
– They will be given an OMR sheet consisting multiple choice questions (MCQ)
– The questions will be related to logical reasoning, everyday science, observations and practical and application based
– The idea is to have a fun based assessment, promoting test as a tool for learning rather than a test of learning

Round 2
Round 2 : Zonal Finals
Iken Scientifica Zonal Final is a hands- on round based on marketplace concept that creates a real life simulation where a child is introduced to
• Understanding real life problem scenarios four instance ‘Make a Remote controlled boat or a Parachute, which carries a load of 5 kg’.
• Creating workable solutions with limited resources at disposal
• Stages of product / concept design
• Idea selling and negotiation
The child’s final model is judged on functionality, design, innovation and efficiency.
Prizes and Takeaways:
300 students will qualify to the National Finals and around 1500 more students will get consolation prizes.
Preparatory Kit: Every participant gets a preparatory kit that includes introduction to marketplace concept and stages of product/concept design with sample projects and DIY activities.
Participation Certificate & Iken Store gift vouchers for every participant.
Merit Certificate, Medals and gift vouchers for qualifiers, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up.
The qualifiers from every venue get a chance to participate in National finals.
Round 3
Round 3 : National Finals
National Final includes a mix engrossing rounds based on strategy building, design, conceptualization and interpersonal activities to test a child’s
• Comprehension : Ability to understand and analyze a given problem
• Problem solving skills: Deriving practical solutions to the same
• Creativity: Designing and developing the solution from scratch
• Ability to work in teams: Brainstorming, work division and collaboration of views and ideas
• Planning : Systematic organization of ideas
• Approach to Idea execution: capability to execute as planned.

6 winners from each country will qualify for the international round.

Trophies for schools with maximum participation in city, zonal, national and international final.
Round 4
Round 4 : International Finals
6 students from each country form a team representing their respective nation.
Teams are given a problem statement based on which they have to design a high end solution.
Students get one day to conceptualize and design a solution and the other day to showcase the idea, design, functionality and uniqueness of the contrived solution.
Prizes and Takeaways:
3 winners , 1 from each level, will be felicitated as Iken Scientifica Global Icons
The top performing team will win the title of Iken Scientifica team of the year, taking home the trophy of the winning nation.
The 6 members of the wining team and 3 global icons will win an all expense paid trip to NASA
Participation certificate for all the teams
Appearance in the competition coverage broadcasted as an episode on National Television.
